Max wanted to make a difference in the world by receiving a good education. He wanted to be an engineer. When the family returned home from the hospital after he died, there was an acceptance letter from the University of Minnesota. In honor of Max's dedication to education and making a difference we will give away $5000 scholarships to young people who exemplify a life of loving God and loving others. Applications will be submitted by video. Each applicant will be asked to submit a video that is a "story" of their life and how they live a life of loving God and loving others. Applications are due by May 1st.
We raise money to fund the scholarships through a golf tournament, donations and t-shirt sales.
Our annual Love to the Max Scholarship Scramble will be June 16, 2018 at Bridlewood Golf Club in Flower Mound, TX.
We also sell t-shirts. We are in the process of setting up a store but you can email us with your size and send us $15 and we will send you a shirt.
You can also make any amount of donation. Every bit helps to encourage young people to make a difference in the world.
Love to the Max was created in memory of Max Schwolert, a high school senior from Lewisville, TX who died unexpectedly on December 29, 2012. We are a non-profit organization with the official name of Go Love to the Max, Inc.
He was a brother, son, friend, cousin, grandson, nephew, an avid golfer, basketball player and most of all, someone who made a difference in the way he lived his life loving God and loving people.
So now we ask you.
Will you live that kind of life?
